CHANGING MINDS, CHANGING LIVES

Posted by

I have been recently asked to be a speaker for this wonderful initiative through the Canadian Paralympic Committee’s Changing Minds, Changing Lives (CMCL) program.

CMCL is a program that educates healthcare professionals, students in the field, the education system, disability advocacy groups and other ‘key influencers’ in the lives of persons with a disability about the Paralympic movement, the associated social and health benefits of regular sport activity, and the potential that resides within all Canadians living with a physical disability.

The website provides all sorts of information to assist health care professionals and those interested in adapted sports / physical activity, whether for themselves or for friends / family members.

Check it out and spread the word…
